Coronavirus Information
Bay Shore Pediatrics is continually monitoring the evolving conditions of the Coronavirus
pandemic and adjusting our practice based on recommendations from the CDC and the
State of Maryland. We appreciate the patience and cooperation of our families as we
work through these challenging times. The following links provide information from our
federal, state, and local governments on how to protect yourself, your family, and your
community.
Our first priority is to protect the health and safety of our patients and staff. To that end,
temporary changes to the way people move through our office and the way our staff
interact and care for our patients will be made on an ongoing basis. We will continue to
evaluate and update our policies based on the availability of scarce medical resources
and the evolving guidance from health and governmental authorities.
- To keep patients physically separated from each other in our office, pagers will be given
to patients upon checking in for appointments if a room is not available. Please wait for
the pager to buzz and light up when your room is ready. Until that time please wait in your
private vehicle.

-Physicians and staff will be wearing protective gear such as face masks.

-The surfaces of our office, including door knobs, countertops, medical equipment and
furniture, are continually being cleaned by our own staff and a professional cleaning staff
with disinfectants.

-Physicians are seeing patients they deem to be an increased risk to the office in the
parking lot by their vehicle or in some cases referring them to the emergency department.
It is crucial that patients should continue to be seen for well care visits
that include vaccinations. Protecting your child from deadly preventable
diseases continues to be very important to maintaining their health. If you
have any concerns or questions about the safety of attending these
appointments please do not hesitate to call and discuss it with your
physician.
